8th February -- Market Update

Things in the Real Estate Industry have been busy over the past week or so with many buyers and sellers entering into the market now they have got the festive season behind them. It was a quiet Christmas, New Years period, so it’s nice to report that business has taken off once again and we are looking forward to a strong market over the coming summer months. We aren’t seeing a significant increase in prices, but are starting to see our volume of sales increase which is pleasing. Because of the renewed interest in the market we are now looking for buyers and sellers to help with their next move. If you, your family, friends or acquaintances know of anybody who is contemplating a Real Estate move, please think of me and recommend me. I’m always looking for new business and appreciated each and every referral. Interest rates still seem to be stable with some very good rates being offered by some institutions. We don’t expect a huge change in these in the near future. I’m happy to advise that Harcourts Hamilton now has a Property Rental Company which manage and lets residential homes, apartments and flats in the Hamilton area. Our rental agents have had a very busy time over the past months with many properties being let.
