A relentless focus on achieving outstanding results for his clients has seen Shaun Cosgrave once again named the Central Region’s top sales consultant for Harcourts.

Real estate sales consultants from throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions descended on Coopers at Mystery Creek Vineyard this week for the Harcourts Regional Awards for the quarter.

Shaun received five awards in total, including the coveted Top Sales Consultant award, covering all real estate categories.

“Our whole team works hard to achieve the best results for our clients”, he said.

“I have a small but dedicated team of sales people and administrators. We all work together to ensure that our buyers and sellers receive maximum customer service.  I think that’s why we have people come back to us time after time.”

When asked about the current market Shaun affirmed that the ‘Auckland effect’ is being seen strongly in current Hamilton sale prices.

“Sellers are benefiting from the extra competition and enjoying high sale prices, especially at auctions.

“We had two properties recently that would have been marketed in the $300,000s.  But by taking them to auction achieved $63,000 above the reserve, while the other, $60,500 above reserve.”

This competitive bidding is reflected in data released by QV for the end of July which shows property prices have shot up 7.4% in Hamilton in the last 12 months.  More than half of that growth (3.8%) has come in just the last three months, showing the fastest growth in Hamilton since the previous boom in 2007.
