Success in the Waikato for Shaun Cosgrave and Stacey Levien

It is double real estate victory for the Waikato, with local salespeople winning the country’s top rural sales and exclusive listings awards.

Hamilton’s Shaun Cosgrave was named Top Exclusive Lister and Stacey Levien Top Rural Sales Consultant at the Harcourts National Awards 2012/2013.

Shaun has been working in the Hamilton area for 20 years and was recently recognised for property sales of over $600m.

He is well known in the community and has built up a reputation for being extremely hard working. He also has a great team to support him in providing superior service to his clients.

“Most of my clients have been referred or have listed with me before. I enjoy the work I do on every listing, whether it is a first home or multi-million dollar deal. I recently helped a retired couple relocate to a smaller home and felt privileged to be part of a new stage in their lives.”

Shaun says the residential market has been challenging, but in the last 12 months things have begun to improve with an increasing volume of houses being sold.

This is the fifth time Shaun has been named Harcourts Top Exclusive Lister. He was also recently named the Top Salesperson for the central North Island for the seventh time in a decade.

Similarly, Stacey Levien is celebrating a repeat victory, as New Zealand’s top rural sales consultant for the second year running.

Stacey Levien says a great team and a strong marketing and auction focus is the key driver of his success.

Specialising in lifestyle blocks, Stacey Levien says he is seeing an increasing number of clients from Auckland, Wellington and ex-pats returning from Australia wanting to buy in the Waikato region.

“There is a slight shortage of properties at the moment. There are a few more buyers around, but we will continue doing what we do – finding the best buyers for each property we list.”

Hayden Duncan CEO of Harcourts Group NZ says the Waikato has achieved some outstanding results in the past 12 months.

“Shaun and Stacey Levien’s success reflects the quality of their skills, their mind-set and their use of the industry leading resources available to them through Harcourts. They’ve made a major contribution to our organisation and to their clients.”

Shaun and Stacey Levien were honoured at the 2013 Harcourts New Zealand Conference, which celebrated Harcourts’ 125th birthday. Established in 1888 in Wellington by J.B Harcourt, the company has become New Zealand’s largest real estate group and is now exporting services and systems into 10 countries around the globe. Still privately New Zealand owned after 125 years, Harcourts is an iconic Kiwi business success story.
